Enjoy guided tours of the homes and gardens of two of America's most prominent New York families. Begin at Sagamore Hill, Theodore Roosevelt’s beloved Victorian home and “Summer White House,” recently restored and full of original family furniture and artifacts. Next, explore the Planting Fields Arboretum, the former Gold Coast estate of the W.R. Coe family. Landscaped by the Olmstead brothers, the grounds, greenhouses and gardens are spectacularly beautiful. Glimpse the former life of the owners when you visit Coe Hall, a 65-room Tudor-revival mansion.
