Paul DiMaggio

Paul DiMaggio is the founder of Tech Targets LLC, an Information Technology (IT) infrastructure engineering company specializing in Smart Home planning, configuration, and implementation as well as ongoing IT security and maintenance. The company also specializes in IT Managed Services for small businesses. Prior to starting his own company, Paul was employed by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a federal employee, and US Department of Defense (DoD) as a defense contractor responsible for deploying IT infrastructure to multiple security classification environments. Paul is an expert in configuring and deploying the Home Assistant (https://www.home-assistant.io/) Smart Home platform used to manage smart devices from the broadest possible range of different manufactures. In the past few years, Paul has become a Microsoft PowerShell (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/) evangelist and uses the programming/scripting language wherever possible to help automate infrastructure deployments. In his spare time, he assists others with PowerShell scripting/debugging and builds tools for the community to use (https://github.com/pldmgg). Paul graduated from Harvard University with a B.S. in Government (Political Science). He currently resides in Bryn Mawr, PA and Avalon, NJ.
