In the late 19th and late 20th centuries, two of America’s foremost artists, Winslow Homer and Andrew Wyeth respectively, tried to capture through their artwork the qualities of life and the mystery of death that make both sublime.  Each, in a different time and through a different lens, brought his aesthetic to bear on these age-old subjects.  What did they see?  How did they express what they felt?  Come find out.
