Preview selections from the Orchestra’s 2025-2026 performances at the Kimmel Center. Using audio-visual examples, focus on the forms, instrumentation and other stylistic elements of the music. Understanding great music is much easier when you know what to listen for! You need not have attended during the fall semester.

Elizabeth Cochran

ELIZABETH COCHRAN plays the Double Bass and received an AB from Bryn Mawr College. She also received a Diploma in Music from the New School of Music in Philadelphia, where she was a student of Michael Shahan. Elizabeth performs with numerous symphonic and chamber ensembles in the Philadelphia region, including the Delaware Symphony, Pennsylvania Ballet and the Philly Pops. In addition to her work as a bassist, she is the organist at Central Baptist Church in Wayne.
